During my recent stay at An Der Havel, I found the culinary experiences quite appealing. The on-site restaurant, Havelblick, specializes in German cuisine, providing an inviting ambiance with views of the river. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, served on the sunny terrace where I savored eggs made from scratch, a nostalgic reminder of my home kitchen in Seoul. While I often seek eco-friendly venues due to my work in marine biology, this hotel offered a cozy atmosphere, albeit the town itself lacked many attractions. I appreciated the spacious room with a clean setup and a comfortable view of the garden and river; a perfect spot for early morning reflections. Though my stay coincided with rain, I did venture out to nearby eateries, but Havelblick provided a relaxing option for lunch and dinner. One suggestion would be to enhance the rooms by adding electric plugs on both sides of the bed. An Der Havel offers a fair price-quality ratio-definitely worth considering for your next gourmet getaway.
